Friday 4/7 vs. Blair & Hun

This Friday we will be traveling to Blairstown, NJ to race Blair Academy and The Hun School. I received the following schedule from the Blair coaches:

Events will be as follows with 10 minutes between each event:
4:00 1st Boys 4+ Hun, CBA, and Blair
4:10 1st Girls 4+ Hun, and Blair
4:20 Girls Novice 8+ Hun and Blair
4:30 2nd Boys 4+ Hun, CBA, and Blair
4:40 2nd Girls 4+ Hun and Blair
4:50 Boys Novice 8+ Hun and Blair
5:00 3rd Boys 4+ Hun, CBA, and Blair
5:10 3rd Girls 4+ Hun and Blair
5:20 Novice Boys 4+ CBA and Blair

We will be launching from Swartswood State Park (directions to follow). Blair Academy is kindly planning a cookout to feed the athletes after the races so that we can load the trailer, eat and head home. Please see the note below from Coach Stajk about travel to Friday's race.




Gentlemen,
This is Mr. Stajk. I just wanted to inform you and your parents that we were granted permission by Brother James to race early on Friday, April 7th at 2 p.m. He signed a slip allowing us to leave school after 5th period at 12:15 p.m. That gives you an hour and 45 minutes to get changed and travel to Blair Academy. One important note: all rowers who do not have their NJ drivers license must be driven by their parents or someone else's parents. I would encourage the novice guys to car pool with one another if possible to make it easier on your parents. All parents are invited to come and watch the event that day.
